Bryan Ford & Goulet and Elev8tor will make the trip out to the Bay Area from Chicago. They will be joined by DJ J Boogie whose albums on Om Records as J Boogie’s Dubtronic Science have elevated him to mythic status. J Boogie is currently working on a remix of one of the songs on Revolutionary Music Presents Organica Lounge. The VOLT MODZ will be performing live for the second time. Their first performance was on April 24th at Darkroom. They play a continuous mix of all original funky techno, tech house, glitch and jackin’ house. Shifty Johnson and K Ford are behind the dirty basslines, analog synths and funky beats that comprise the VOLT MODZ sound. Their first release for Revolutionary Music was a remix of the Earl Jives cut Funkie Ass Junkie. Check out some video from their last performance.
